Facility Worker

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and maintaining campus facilities.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
Ensure compliance with university safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies, and submit orders as needed.
Respond promptly to any urgent maintenance requests and address them in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other facility workers and departments to complete tasks and projects.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, and report any recurring issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and maintenance equipment.
Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to address any concerns or issues related to campus facilities.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the appearance and functionality of campus facilities.
Adhere to all university policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on maintenance best practices and techniques.
Support and contribute to the overall mission and goals of Northern State University.
