Facility ED Coder – (Full & Part-Time, Remote)

These remote, W-2 employee positions are available for both full-time and part-time schedules. If you are an AHIMA-credentialed professional with strong Emergency Department (ED) coding experience and are looking to work with a forward-thinking company that values accuracy, innovation, and continuous improvement, we d love to hear from you! What You ll Do: Code all diseases and conditions for the Emergency Department in accordance with ICD-10-CM, UHDDS, and AMA CPT-4, following client specifications. Stay current with GeBBS and client coding policies/procedures, including updates or changes. Clarify any unclear information with your supervisor and/or data quality specialist. Maintain a 95%+ coding accuracy rate while meeting productivity standards. Ensure compliance with HIPAA policies regarding patient data. Requirements What We re Looking For: Certification required: AHIMA credentials (RHIT, RHIA, or CCS). Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent Facility ED coding experience. Strong knowledge of ICD-10 outpatient coding principles. Proficiency in Injection & Infusion coding. Cerner PowerChart experience preferred. Ability to pass the GeBBS Facility ED coding test.
