Facilities Maintenance Technician
Description
The Facilities engineer is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol
- Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs
- Implement, with Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs
- Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.
- Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes
- Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital client, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.
- Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner
- HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, exhaust
- Electrical wiring and installation (outlets, furniture, fans)
- Painting
- Carpentry and flooring
- Plumbing for sinks, restrooms, kitchens
- Minor appliance repair
- Furniture repair
- Allen Bradley and Trane Tracer controls

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
