The Facilities Manager will lead and collaborate with a team of facilities professionals committed to ensuring the safety of the Fountain House community.

Your Impact

As Facilities Administration Manager, you will:
• Oversee and delegate tasks related to the safety and efficiency of Fountain House properties and scattered sites apartments.
• Your leadership will drive outcomes that matter; safe work & compliant work home environments

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility.

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership
• Delegating repairs via maintenance ticketing system for multiple Fountain House properties and scattered apartment support.
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior.
• Minimum of Monthly Life/Safety tours of all Fountain House properties to include. Sidewalks, Maintenance rooms, Roof/Parapet etc
• Coordinate and monitor all maintenance vender visits and understanding warranties.
• Respond to after-hours building emergencies when needed

Operations & Compliance
• Understanding of all NYC, State and Federal building compliance regulations
• Obtain the FDNY S-95 Certificate of Fitness for FACP at each monitored property
• Support all Fountian House Safety Protocols, including Fire Drills Ability to obtain FDNY F07 or W07 Certificate of Fitness for Fire & Emergency Drill Conductor
• Develop in-house inspections and preventative maintenance (PM) routines including:
• Fire Extinguisher, carpet cleaning schedules, biyearly FCU filter changes, PM of door hardware.

Partnerships & Resource Development
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify building needs and budgets

What You Bring
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience
• Advanced mechanical skill and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and other building systems
• Familiarity with general Life/Safety building issues
• Proficiency with repair tools and techniques
• Excellent communication in interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of Fountian House employees, members, guests and venders
• Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities
• Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
• Competency in Microsoft Suite
