Responsibilities • Conduct and/or leading thorough, complex financial audit engagements to assess the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with GAAP. • Perform detailed financial analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement. • Review accounts and general ledger accounting to ensure proper recording of transactions. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations. • Assist in regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on tax implications and strategies. • Utilize financial software to streamline auditing processes and enhance reporting capabilities. • Stay updated on industry best practices, changes in regulations, and emerging trends in financial auditing. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Preferred • EXTERNAL audit experience is a MUST • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements. • Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools. • Experience with general ledger accounting practices. • Familiarity with various financial software applications used for auditing purposes. • Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing. • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
