Exteriors Estimator - 1099
This is a 1099, remote-work relationship to prepare for anticipated CAT claims volume. Pay rate is $75 per estimate completed
Job Summary
The Exteriors Estimator is responsible for handling Exterior damage files in a professional, efficient manner in accordance with Accuserve’s and insurance carrier guidelines.
General Responsibilities
• Review photos and scope notes from network contractors and produce estimates for covered damages in Xactimate and Symbility
• Produce, review, and revise estimates within Xactimate and Symbility
• Produce front-end estimates as well as supplements
• Learn, understand and adhere to carrier estimating guidelines
• Works frequently with carriers, adjustors, network contractors, vendors and claimants
• Daily use and monitoring of company job software, such as Salesforce, Outlook, MICA, XactimateXA, Symbility/Claims Connect and Livegenic
• Daily use of company communication platforms including but not limited to: GSuite, Elite University within Docebo
• Collaborate with other Estimators and QA Reviewers as needed
• Report to the Claims Manager and assist with carrier and network contractor engagement as needed
Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Estimating experience with Xactimate and Symbility (Cotality) required
• Ability to work independently as a remote 1099 worker
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable high speed home broadband internet connection with minimum 10 meg download and 1 meg upload speeds and ability to connect to home internet via ethernet cord is required if working remotely
