About the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Team The MSP team at blithequark is responsible for driving innovation across all aspects of mechatronics and packaging. We collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, and WW Design, to deliver robust products that seamlessly integrate into our fulfillment network. Our team's primary focus is on developing strategic partnerships, driving future innovation, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for developing and executing virtual system test plans, simulations, and emulations to validate system-level requirements and ensure integrated system performance. Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing, implementing, and executing simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software Ensuring that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process integration, and service and support prior to delivery Identifying and setting appropriate quality standards and parameters for products and communicating them to the product team Coordinating simulations and testing processes, identifying and analyzing issues, and recommending solutions Collaborating with internal customers, reviewing client and customer feedback, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws and regulations Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BS) 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management Project management skills to start and finish projects successfully Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills, including: Strong technical skills in modeling, simulation, and testing Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to think abstractly and manage complex systems Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
