Job Overview As a Virtual Customer Support Agent at blithequark, you will be working from the comfort of your own home, providing top-notch customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for answering inbound phone and/or video calls and live chats over the internet, assisting individuals with customer-related support questions and issues. This is a third-party 1099 opportunity that offers flexible hours, 100% autonomy, and the opportunity to work from home. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, video calls, and live chats, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. Utilize your home computer and internet connection to remotely answer customer support questions and provide administrative support as needed. Work independently from your home office, with the flexibility to choose your own hours, as long as you work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Participate in training and certification programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, with a variety of times available during the day and evening to fit your schedule. Collaborate with other virtual support professionals to achieve team goals and objectives, and to share best practices and knowledge. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: At least 6 months of customer service and/or administrative experience, with call center or phone support experience preferred. A home office setting with a computer/laptop, internet connection, and headset hookups, or the ability to set one up. A high level of professionalism, excellent typing, communication, and computer skills. Availability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary, and a willingness to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments. Technical Requirements To ensure you have the necessary technical capabilities to perform this role, you will need to have: A CPU i5 (or equivalent), with i7 recommended, and no Atom, Celeron, Pentium, or Opteron processors. Internet download speed of at least 5Mbs and upload speed of at least 3Mbs, with a maximum network latency of 250 MS. An operating system of Win 8.1 (64bit) or Win 10 (64bit), with a minimum of 4GB RAM and 8GB recommended. A home office setup with an ethernet cord to connect to your computer, and a desktop or laptop connected to a nearby router or wall for firewall/security purposes.
