Job Overview The Virtual Assistant role at blithequark is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage and assist with our short-term rental operations. As a Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for property management, platform management, guest communications, housekeeping coordination, arranging amenities, and addressing guest issues in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience, from the initial booking to checkout. Key Responsibilities Guest and reservation management: Manage guest inquiries, respond to messages, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Virtual property management: Coordinate with housekeeping staff, schedule cleanings, and ensure that properties are ready for guest arrival. Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination: Manage the scheduling and coordination of cleaning services, ensuring that properties are cleaned to a high standard. Provide accurate information about properties and neighborhoods: Respond to guest inquiries about properties, neighborhoods, and local amenities. Process reservations: Manage reservation requests, confirm bookings, and ensure that all necessary information is communicated to guests. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2+ years of customer service experience: Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. 2+ years of vacation rental customer service or hotel experience: Experience in the short-term rental or hotel industry, with a deep understanding of guest needs and expectations. Availability to work during normal U.S. business hours: Must be available to work during standard U.S. business hours, with flexibility to respond to urgent issues outside of these hours. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Airbnb customer service: Familiarity with Airbnb's platform and customer service protocols. Ability to work with multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced environment: Experience working with various software platforms, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Success Metrics To measure success in this role, we will be tracking the following metrics: Maintain a quick response rate to all inquiries: Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly. Resolve all guest issues with a high sense of urgency in less than 3 hours or ASAP: Prioritize guest issues, resolving them promptly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction. Contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher: Provide exceptional service, ensuring that guests leave positive reviews and ratings.
