Key Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to the appropriate person
Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
Log phone calls and documents into our online document management system
Assist office staff with clerical duties, including faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files
Maintain frequent communication with clients and answer questions
Obtain insurance coverage information in a timely manner
Follow up with medical treatments and ensure proper care
Obtain medical provider records and bills
Communicate with insurance companies on treatment status and update adjuster information on the system
Qualifications and Required Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Punctuality and commitment to working overtime on occasion
Fluency in English and Spanish
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Self-starter and multi-tasker with the ability to work independently
Computer literacy, with a minimum of a Core I5 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and Windows 10 installed
USB noise-cancelling headsets and a webcam for daily meetings and huddles
Internet speed of at least 35Mbps download and 15Mbps upload
