Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Tubing Attendant to join our team at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. As a Tubing Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tubing facility, providing exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the overall success of our resort. Key Responsibilities Provide assistance to guests in the loading and unloading process, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all Check guests for proper ticketing and safety equipment, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner Operate lift controls, slowing or stopping the lift as necessary to ensure guest safety Maintain a clean and organized lift area, including lift lines and surrounding terrain Perform daily checks of carriers, grips, and other mechanical components, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors or mechanics Document all required actions on daily lift logs, monitoring and reporting any unusual occurrences or maintenance needs Collaborate with lift maintenance staff to ensure the smooth operation of our tubing facility Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt and professional manner Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required No previous experience necessary, but a passion for the mountain lifestyle and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic winter environment, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking, standing, and exposure to cold, snow, and wind Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a winter sports or resort environment Knowledge of lift operations, maintenance, and safety procedures First aid or emergency response training, with a focus on winter sports and outdoor activities Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Skills and Competencies Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and supervisors Customer Service: A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on safety, satisfaction, and loyalty Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve common goals and objectives Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement effective responses Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including weather conditions, guest volumes, and operational requirements Career Growth and Development At Snowshoe Mountain Resort, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
