This role will involve mainly data entry with some basic research, and you will have the opportunity to work remotely with occasional in-person training and meetings at our Blair, NE office. As a temporary Accounting/Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for: * Accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems using Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat * Conducting basic research to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files * Providing exceptional customer service and support to our team and customers * Collaborating with our accounting and data entry teams to ensure seamless data entry and processing **Key Responsibilities** * Data Entry: + Accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems using Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat + Conduct basic research to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files * Research and Problem-Solving: + Conduct basic research to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy + Identify and resolve data entry errors and discrepancies + Collaborate with our accounting and data entry teams to ensure seamless data entry and processing * Customer Service: + Provide exceptional customer service and support to our team and customers + Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner * Team Collaboration: + Collaborate with our accounting and data entry teams to ensure seamless data entry and processing + Participate in team meetings and contribute to team discussions and decision-making **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred * 1-2 years of experience in data entry and/or accounting, with a focus on detail-oriented work * Strong foundation in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Preferred Qualifications** * 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field * Experience with accounting software and systems * Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong foundation in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a temporary Accounting/Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in data entry and accounting, working with a dynamic team and contributing to the success of our organization.
