The Role of a Technical Content Designer
We're seeking a talented Technical Content Designer with a strong technical background to join our Customer Service Content Strategy team. As a key member of this team, you'll play a vital role in improving the support experience for our members and customer service agents. Your primary focus will be on creating and managing content for the arenaflex Help Center and internal customer service knowledge base, working closely with program managers, visual designers, and cross-functional partners in product, engineering, and research.

Key Responsibilities

Lead large, complex editorial projects from start to finish, including setting content strategy, goals, timelines, and reporting
Create and edit Customer Service content, such as Help Center and internal knowledge base articles, customer service emails, and other support materials
Ensure consistent content style, tone, and format that meet the evolving expectations of a global audience
Collaborate with support operations, localization, legal, product design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality content
Develop, maintain, and update style guides and editorial training to ensure consistency across all content
Leverage multiple data sources to provide data-driven analysis and content recommendations, driving continuous improvement


Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Technical Content Designer at arenaflex, you'll need:

A BS/BA degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical writing, content design, or a related field
Exceptional writing, editing, project management, and communication skills
Extensive technical or UI writing experience, with a focus on customer service organizations or highly technical environments for a consumer audience
Experience writing for different platforms, including computer, mobile, or TV
Familiarity with information architecture and content management systems
Desired qualities include being independent, a self-starter, innovative thinker, curious, action-oriented, and able to drive improvements, with strong relationship-building and superior communication skills, including storytelling
