Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful as a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll need: An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits. Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor. A valid NJ Substitute Credential. A background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this).
