About the Role: Student Success Coach As a Student Success Coach at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and guidance to students throughout their education program. Your primary objective will be to empower students to overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and become lifelong learners. You will work closely with each student, challenging, motivating, and encouraging them to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience for students. Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, utilizing proactive and timely outreach strategies. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach, helping them develop skills and knowledge essential for academic success. Provide a trusted and supportive environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Offer guidance on utilizing resources to maximize student success and provide resume and career development support as a certified resume reviewer. Serve as a liaison for students, facilitating connections with various departments and ensuring seamless support. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). At least two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures, as well as the ability to learn technical skills quickly. Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner and strong customer support focus. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Familiarity with academic support software and technology. Certification as a resume writer or career coach. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying learning needs.
