About the Role: Flexologist We're seeking a talented and passionate Stretch Practitioner to join our team as a Flexologist in Canton, CT. As a Flexologist, you'll be responsible for providing one-on-one assisted stretches to clients and leading guided group stretching classes for up to 6 participants. Key Responsibilities: Motivate and encourage clients throughout their stretch sessions, helping them achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being. Build and retain StretchLab memberships by providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all clients. Ensure client safety by applying proper stretch techniques and enforcing our policies and procedures. Attend staff meetings and educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the world of stretching and fitness. Address member concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Assist with studio tours and sales, showcasing the benefits of StretchLab's unique stretching offerings. Maintain a strong social media presence, promoting StretchLab's brand and engaging with clients and followers. Keep equipment clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for clients. Essential Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should have a passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, as well as a background in one of the following: Massage Therapy Personal Training Physical Therapy Pilates or Yoga Instruction Dance Instruction You should also have: A fitness certification (e.g. ACE, NASM, etc.) Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients. Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive, welcoming environment for all clients. A professional work ethic, with a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality. The ability to complete our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a boutique fitness environment. A strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Experience with sales and marketing techniques.
