Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant to join our CarePlus/Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Atlanta, GA. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes Multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service Work in a high-production environment to meet performance goals and deadlines Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless and efficient operations Utilize strong computer skills to accurately and efficiently process prescriptions and patient information Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals and deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Specialty pharmacy experience Call center experience Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues COVID Requirements arenaflex requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevent them from being vaccinated.
