Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic procedures, providing proactive solutions to issues, applying advanced software techniques, implementing solutions, and following up to ensure the effectiveness of solutions. You will also perform specialized or unique programming tasks to building controls systems, identify and respond to patterns with alerts, freezes, and work orders, and respond to manufacturer recalls. Key Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve complex issues
Provide proactive solutions to issues, applying advanced software techniques and implementing solutions
Perform specialized or unique programming tasks to building controls systems
Identify and respond to patterns with alerts, freezes, and work orders, and respond to manufacturer recalls
Collaborate with teams in building performance and controls, utilizing and sharing resources, information, and tools
Determine customer needs and business needs, planning and executing work tasks accordingly
Provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved, and demonstrate and assist others in adapting to change or new challenges
Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to address business issues, collaborating with managers, colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders
Analyze and apply information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results
Identify and address opportunities for improvement, participating in teams in building performance and controls
Complete work tasks and needs in Building Performance and Controls, utilizing techniques, knowledge, and resources


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. You will also need excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in building controls, programming, and software development is an asset, as is knowledge of industry-specific software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in customer support and building controls
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems, such as building management systems (BMS) or energy management systems (EMS)
