The Role: Software Engineer Security We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Security to join our Client Security Integrations team. This team is at the forefront of developing and implementing security strategies and solutions to protect our content, applications, and user data. As a Software Engineer Security, you will play a critical role in building a vulnerability management solution for our applications on consumer electronics devices, integrating scanning tools, and providing actionable security guidance to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a comprehensive vulnerability management solution for our applications on various consumer electronics devices, including TVs and mobile devices. Integrate scanning tools and develop custom software to enhance our security posture. Orchestrate security flows within our environment to ensure seamless protection. Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on reducing security risks and protecting our business model. Collaborate with external vendors to drive product requirements that meet our security needs. Utilize programming languages such as Java and Python to develop innovative security solutions. Essential Qualifications: Experience in the container security space and a deep understanding of its challenges. A proven track record of delivering innovative security solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Ability to take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Strong understanding of security vs. usability trade-offs in complex, cross-functional systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with game development engines such as Unity and Unreal. Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the security landscape. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Key competencies include: Strong programming skills in languages such as Java and Python. Experience with container security and vulnerability management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to navigate complex security challenges and develop effective solutions.
