Experienced Shopify App Developer Needed to Build Public App for Shopify App Store
We are looking for an experienced Shopify app developer to build a public Shopify app from start to finish. This app is intended to be listed and sold on the Shopify App Store, so applicants must have real experience building, deploying, and submitting apps through Shopify’s official review and approval process.
The app will involve enhancing how products are displayed and connected on Shopify storefronts, similar to advanced product variant or product linking functionality seen on large eCommerce platforms. More detailed specifications will be shared with shortlisted candidates after an NDA.
This is not a store setup project. We are hiring for a true Shopify app product.
Applicants must have:
Proven experience building public Shopify apps (not just Shopify stores)
Experience using:
Shopify CLI
Shopify APIs
OAuth
Shopify App Bridge
Experience submitting apps to the Shopify App Store
Understanding of Shopify App Store policies and approval requirements
Experience building apps that:
Work across multiple themes
Do not break storefront performance
Follow Shopify best practices
Ability to deliver a complete project:
From development
To testing
To app store submission
Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines
