As a Senior Math Instructor and Tutor, you'll be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering personalized instruction and making a real difference in the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities Teach and tutor students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method ™ , terminology, and teaching practices. Collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need. Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, adapting your teaching approach as necessary. Become proficient in using digital educational materials and processes to enhance the learning experience. Support the maintenance of a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications A passion for math and a commitment to helping students understand and love it. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. An eagerness to learn and be trained in our methodologies and curriculum. The ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet the needs of our students. Capability to teach math effectively through at least Pre-calculus; Calculus I experience is preferred. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Education, Mathematics, or a math-heavy discipline. At least 3 years of experience in a tutoring or teaching role, with a proven track record of success. Preferred Qualifications Experience mentoring or training junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture. A background in education or a related field that demonstrates your expertise and commitment to teaching and learning. All applicants will be required to undergo a math literacy test to assess their math proficiency, provide documentation of work authorization, and pass a background check.
