**Job Summary**
As our Senior Manager of Forecasting, you'll play a critical role in creating and delivering contact forecasts that will inform our global capacity planning solutions for our Customer Service (CS) network. You'll lead a team of analysts and managers across multiple countries, ensuring that our forecasts are accurate and reliable, and that our service level delivery is consistently high. This is a high-impact role that requires strong leadership, project management, and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to lead and grow high performers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Create and deliver contact forecasts that inform our global capacity planning solutions for our CS network
* Lead a team of analysts and managers across multiple countries, ensuring that our forecasts are accurate and reliable
* Develop and implement forecasting techniques across multiple Amazon markets
* Manage team performance, ensuring that our service level delivery is consistently high
* Collaborate with senior CS leadership to keep them updated on the drivers for forecast variance and participate in strategic long-term planning initiatives
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations
* Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions
* Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in forecasting and capacity planning
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in Forecasting/Planning, with a strong background in analytics and data analysis
* Experience managing a team of analytic professionals, including hiring, development, and performance management
* Strong technical skills, including SQL, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner
* Ability to lead successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
**Preferred Qualifications**
* MBA or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other business/analytical disciplines
* Experience in forecasting, time-series, and multivariate regression
* Combination of technical skills and business savvy to interface with all levels and disciplines across the organization
* Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
* Experience using AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, etc.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Natural curiosity and desire to learn
