Experienced Senior Information Examiner for Streaming Services – Data Analysis and Subscriber Management Expertise

Job Overview The primary responsibility of this role is to support ongoing subscriber measurement for various business-critical initiatives. As a Senior Information Examiner, you will work closely with our upstream reporting partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected. You will also assist in identifying subscribers impacted by incidents requiring timely and lawful remediations, collaborating with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering to guarantee the integrity of our subscriber adjusts and that clients receive refunds when required. Key Responsibilities Manage data intake and document requirements related to subscriber messaging campaigns (including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected) and incident remediation (ensuring that the right clients receive refunds when required) Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine accurate companions of subscribers for messaging as well as remediation Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business stakeholders Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjusts and the technical system that underlies subscriber data Manage project planning and schedules and facilitate cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of robust communication processes and operational playbooks In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 2+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline 2+ years of analytical experience Proven ability to convey technical or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing solutions Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and operational stakeholders Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data analysis tools Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
