About the Role
We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements, ensuring accurate reporting of working costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, and you will report directly to our Senior Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger
Be a key owner of the monthly close process for our company and foreign entities for specifically assigned functional areas
Maintain financial records for management and GAAP consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to further our process improvement initiatives
About You

Essential Qualifications
2+ years of relevant accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
Excellent spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
Knowledge of accounting software and systems, such as NetSuite or similar
Experience with process improvement initiatives and implementation of new accounting systems
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members
