About the Job
We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior GL Bookkeeper who will work closely with our existing team to drive process improvements and ensure accurate reporting of working costs. As a key member of our Bookkeeping team, you will report to our Senior Accounting Supervisor and play a vital role in achieving business objectives. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, and we are looking for a self-motivated and independent individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and foreign entities
Maintain financial records for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to further our process improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
2+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite (or similar software)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and process large datasets
A CPA certification is a plus
