About the Role We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior GL Bookkeeper who will collaborate with our existing team to drive process improvements and ensure accurate reporting of working costs. As a key member of our Bookkeeping team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive forward process upgrades. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to our company's success. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger Be a vital owner of the monthly close cycle for assigned regions and foreign entities Maintain financial records for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to further our process improvement initiatives Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: 2+ years of relevant accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus Solid knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets Excellent communication, oral, and written interpersonal skills, with strong proficiency in English Self-motivated and independent, with a "make it happen" attitude and ability to think creatively and entrepreneurially Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong business acumen and process-oriented mindset Data-driven approach, with a focus on detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with minimal supervision Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
