Job Overview We are looking for an exceptional Senior Financial Accounting Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the Controller, Financial Accounting, and collaborating with other accounting leaders and managers. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting with Hulu's reporting requirements, managing the intercompany process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Aid in the maintenance of general ledger and the month-end close process related to corporate accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform variance analyses Monitor intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany payments Track related party transactions throughout the fiscal year and perform valuation analyses to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length Collaborate with the Financial Planning, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation Work directly with the Manager, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc management initiatives Aid in the preparation of Hulu's financial statements through the preparation of financial schedules and footnotes Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos to document changes in accounting treatment Assist in managing internal and external audits by working with requests and preparing status meetings Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3 years of accounting experience Solid knowledge of US GAAP Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of motivation Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A combination of public and private work experience Experience in SAP Entertainment or technology industry experience CPA license Education Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
