Job Summary We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Data Architecture and Engineering to lead our data initiatives and drive the execution of our data product strategy. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs. Key Responsibilities Lead and Innovate: Oversee the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs. Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our data systems. Strategic Execution: Drive the execution of our data product strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives. MDM and Data Governance: Implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization. Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning them with our data strategy. Advanced Technologies: Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrate them with cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions. Technical Expertise: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into actionable insights. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree: Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 12 years in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Technical Skills and Expertise Proven Experience: Data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and big data technologies. Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and motivating high-performing teams. Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
