Key Responsibilities
Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and other forms of abuse
Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent harm and promote trust on the platform, using data-driven insights and analytics to inform decision making
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Engineering, and Policy Development, to develop and implement policies and tools to prevent adversarial abuse
Manage a team of experts in adversarial abuse and business analytics, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that the team's work is aligned with company goals and objectives
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and threats in the online safety space, using this knowledge to inform strategic decision making and drive innovation
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
At least 4 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or a related field, with a focus on data-driven decision making
At least 2 years of experience leading teams, with a proven track record of success in managing and developing high-performing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., master's or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
Experience working with large datasets and machine learning models, with a focus on anomaly detection and predictive analytics
