Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team of talented professionals in the Examination group. As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience through data-driven insights and recommendations. Key Responsibilities Utilize quantitative analysis and data visualization to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions Design and implement full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools Mentor junior professionals on advanced techniques and best practices in data analysis and interpretation Develop and present recommendations to business and product leaders, using statistical procedures and hypothesis testing to validate findings Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, report, validate, and monitor logging and data infrastructure Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop executive-facing dashboards to track progress against goals Work backwards from understanding and measuring problems to ideating solutions, using a structured, hypothesis-driven, and data-supported approach Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field 4+ years of experience in data analysis, consulting, or a related role, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven insights Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages such as Matlab, R, SAS, or Python Proficiency in at least one analytics and visualization tool (e.g., Chartio, Looker, Tableau) Ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, and data-supported way Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and cloud-based data platforms Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, with experience implementing and deploying models in a business setting Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
