As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in transforming and innovating our VOC method, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver data-driven insights and drive business growth. About the Role
The Senior Data Architect will work closely with our utility teams, product owners, and Agile teams in technology to design, develop, and implement a robust data architecture that supports our VOC method. This will involve:
Collaborating with stakeholders to outline, build, and capture business requirements
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of VOC methods and leveraging them to inform data architecture and transformation
Designing and building robust data models to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
Providing expert guidance on data architecture and analytics to drive business growth and efficiency
Developing and implementing automation tools to improve data processing and reduce manual effort
Working closely with our Agile teams to prioritize, define, and deliver data solutions that meet business needs
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for:
Designing and developing data architectures that support our VOC method
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of VOC methods and leveraging them to inform data architecture and transformation
Collaborating with stakeholders to outline, build, and capture business requirements
Developing and implementing automation tools to improve data processing and reduce manual effort
Providing expert guidance on data architecture and analytics to drive business growth and efficiency
Working closely with our Agile teams to prioritize, define, and deliver data solutions that meet business needs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages
Development, launch management, and troubleshooting experience for data-driven tasks
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders and Agile teams
Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and efficiency through data-driven insights
Experience with data architecture and analytics, including data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
Experience with data transformation and innovation, including data architecture, data warehousing, and business intelligence
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Azure
Experience with data governance and data quality, including data validation and data cleansing
Experience with data visualization and reporting, including Tableau and Power BI
