About the Role We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our Voice of the Customer (VOC) team, responsible for transforming and innovating our VOC method. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Senior Data Architect, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our VOC platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with utility teams to outline, design, and implement business requirements for the VOC platform. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of VOC methods and leverage this knowledge to inform data-driven decision-making. Design and build robust data model architectures to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions. Develop and implement large-scale data analytics and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python). Provide guidance on optimizing data processing and analytics to drive efficiency in computing programs using massive data ecosystems. Develop and implement software program programs, testing, and automation tools to support VOC platform development. Proactively identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with colleagues from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and review statistics for various use cases as part of the VOC cease-to-quit technique. Essential Qualifications Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, shell scripting languages, development, launch management, and troubleshooting for data-driven tasks, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with product managers/product owners to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the ability to deliver small increments of a product at regular intervals to business groups. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA. You'll be an expert in data architecture, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
