Experienced Senior Accountant – Remote Bookkeeping Position at careerzynith

**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Accountant at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* Planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for management and GAAP combined financial statements
* Collaborating with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
* Providing guidance and support to junior accountants and other team members
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
* Conducting special investigations and projects to drive cycle improvement initiatives
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or a similar industry
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/internal controls
* Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite is a plus
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Self-motivated and independent, with a "make it happen" attitude
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* CPA certification or equivalent
* Experience with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
* Strong Excel skills, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports
* Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
