**Experienced Senior Accountant – Remote Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting**

You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and will be responsible for driving process improvements and efficiency gains. This is a 100% remote position, and you will be working with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about their work. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger * Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for ourselves and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas * Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies * Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys * Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters * Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives **We're Looking for Someone Who...** * Is self-motivated and independent, able to think critically, innovatively, and entrepreneurially * Has a "make it happen" attitude, able to handle pressure well, and is modest and resilient * Has sharp business acumen and process-oriented thinking * Is data-driven and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for accuracy and a high level of precision * Has excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English * Has strong analytical and time management skills * Has at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience * Has a strong understanding of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls * Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite is a plus **Why You'll Love Working at blithequark** * We're pioneers - Authority isn't limited to our management team.
