Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of security engineers in designing, developing, and implementing secure products and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
Develop and implement security strategies and solutions to protect Disney's products and services
Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify areas for improvement
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security and integrity of Disney's systems and data
Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve Disney's security posture


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
7+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on application security and cloud security
3+ years of experience in managing and leading security engineering teams
Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, and access control
Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
CISSP, CEH, or other security certifications
Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning security solutions
