You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, processing transactions, and assisting with inventory management. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Act as the point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues that may arise * Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs to ensure a visually appealing store environment * Stock merchandise adequately, rotating and facing products on shelves to ensure easy customer access * Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets * Unload trucks, receive and unpack cartons and totes, and store merchandise in the stock room or move directly to the sales floor * Build merchandise displays and assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners, as needed * Clean the front end of the store, including the checkout area, and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary * Operate cash registers and flatbed scanners to itemize and total customer purchases, bag merchandise, and collect payment from customers **Qualifications** * Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills * Understanding of safety policies and practices * Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance * Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures * Basic mathematical skills * Ability to perform IBM cash register functions * High school diploma or equivalent preferred **Working Conditions** * Frequent walking and standing * Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to run the checkout station, stock merchandise, and unload trucks * Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment, such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, U-boats (six-wheel carts), and rolltainers * Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds * Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet * Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level * Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions **Benefits** * Competitive starting pay range: $16.66 - $16.76 * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage options, a variety of supplemental programs, 401(k) Savings Plan, paid sick leave (where required by law), vacation (after 6 months of service), paid holidays (3 days), paid maternity and parental leave, and many more * Eligibility and waiting period requirements may apply; see careers.arenaflex.com/benefits for additional details **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
