You'll work closely with the Safety Team to develop and implement SMS data collection frameworks, and other procedures that promote compliance with regulatory and industry best practices. In addition to working for a dynamic and growing airline, you'll enjoy the following benefits and perks: * Comprehensive health insurance, including dental and vision coverage * PPO and high-deductible health plans * Health savings accounts (HSA and FSA) * Dependent care assistance * 401(k) match * Paid time off * Life and AD&D insurance * Employee assistance program, including counseling and wellness resources * Wellness initiatives and quit-smoking support **Responsibilities** As a Safety Analyst, you'll be responsible for: * Auditing, processing, and analyzing reports received through the safety reporting system * Examining technical data from incidents, events, and risks, and identifying patterns or trends in complex data sets * Tracking, analyzing, and interpreting data outputs from arenaflex's safety programs * Assisting in the organization of corporate databases to improve aircraft safety * Supporting the Safety Team in any necessary investigations * Providing technical expertise to management on data models, database design, and data mining * Preparing reports and conveying safety-related information to management and line staff through the Safety Management System (SMS) * Assisting in the development, implementation, and management of arenaflex's Safety Management System (SMS) * Contributing to the continuous improvement of arenaflex's risk identification and risk assessment plans * Participating in organizational investigations * Serving as a safety evaluator for the Internal Assessment Program, Safety Investigations, and high-risk areas of operations * Preparing examination studies on flight safety trends * Improving Safety Development by serving as the representative of the SMS * Other duties as assigned **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., safety, risk management, data analysis) * Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills * Past experience in data analysis and reporting * Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and PowerPoint experience * Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills * Ability to obtain a MSP SIDA identification **What We Offer** At arenaflex, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
