About Our Cath Lab - Invasive Cardiology Our Cath Lab is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients, where you'll have the opportunity to increase your knowledge base and expertise. With a focus on Invasive Cardiology, Structural Heart, and Peripheral Vascular Disease, you'll be working with a diverse patient population and be part of a team that's pushing the boundaries of cardiovascular care. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Participate in procedural areas, including 4 Cath Labs, and assist with various cardiovascular procedures. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients simultaneously. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular care, participating in ongoing education and training. Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a Cardiovascular PCU/ICU, CVICU, or related cardiac acute care setting. Current RN licensure in the state of Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting as an RN. Experience with invasive cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular disease procedures. Strong clinical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
