About the Role: Retail Customer Care Pharmacist We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our Retail Customer Care team at blithequark. As a remote contact center Pharmacist, you'll play a critical role in providing medication therapy management and clinical consultation to healthcare professionals, while staying at the forefront of evidence-based practices and monitoring adverse events. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with customers over the phone or through other channels to address medication-related concerns and ensure optimal medication therapy management. Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of prescription orders, ensuring alignment with patient health conditions and potential drug interactions. Respond to patient inquiries about drug information, including medication dosages, storage requirements, and potential interactions. Conduct research on insurance processes to assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and resolve medication claims and reimbursement issues. Design and implement a comprehensive customer care system for the pharmacy network, facilitating record-keeping of patient profiles and medication histories. Develop a collaborative care network with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and positive patient experiences. Establish customer care service protocols to emphasize exceptional customer service and address medication-related concerns. Contribute to the pharmacy's medication safety plan, monitoring for potential medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and contraindications. Integrate reminder systems, medication synchronization, and counseling into customer care practices to ensure quality service.
