Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner. Process sales, loans, and extensions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction. Perform opening and closing store duties, maintaining a secure and organized store environment. Interact with customers daily, helping them with sales and negotiations regarding pawn items. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and customer service goals. Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services, including commonly pawned items such as jewelry, electronics, and firearms. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Retail Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED. Previous customer service, cashier, or retail experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive and outgoing personality with a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and work well under pressure. A willingness to adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations. The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experiences can give you a competitive edge: Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics. A sales background, demonstrating your ability to meet sales targets and negotiate effectively. Bilingual skills, enabling you to communicate with a diverse customer base. The chance to excel and explore opportunities to promote to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager) and eventually Store Manager in Training, with a comprehensive 12-week training program.
