Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Cashier to join our team at careerzynith. As a key member of our retail team, you'll provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Essential Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
Knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations.
