We're proud to be a part of the arenaflex family, and we're excited to have you join our team! **Key Responsibilities:** As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for: * Delivering exceptional customer experiences by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and providing solutions * Providing expert knowledge and recommendations on arenaflex products and services * Taking complex customer orders using order systems and providing accurate pricing information * Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels * Setting up and operating printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents * Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment * Processing financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change * Staying current on retail store merchandising materials and ensuring proper display of all retail area product and signage * Taking preemptive action to prevent errors and waste * Completing required financial paperwork and assisting with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent education * 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer service environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods * Ability to move and lift 55 pounds * Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis * Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members * Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction * Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure * Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment * Knowledge of arenaflex products and services * Experience with Point of Sale terminals (POS) and financial transactions * Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Experience with quality management principles and practices **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent customer service skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Point of Sale terminals (POS) and financial transactions **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
