About the Role As a Remote Virtual Bookkeeper at Workwarp, you'll be responsible for managing the financial records of our small business clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Your expertise will help us streamline financial processes, improve client satisfaction, and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Build and maintain two QuickBooks accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial data. Transaction Management: Review transactions and place them in their proper fields, ensuring compliance with accounting rules and regulations. Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit End-of-Month (EOM) statements and End-of-Year (EOY) financials to the Executive Director and Accountant. Process Improvement: Suggest methodologies to simplify receivables through automation using QuickBooks, and assist the team in learning how to invoice through QuickBooks. Best Practices Sharing: Share Best Practices to help with smart growth and run billing, client, and other reports on a routine basis. Collaboration and Support: Assist team members in succeeding, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative environment. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Remote Virtual Bookkeeper at Workwarp, you'll need: Advanced QuickBooks Knowledge: Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential, with experience in managing multiple accounts and complex financial data. Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills are required for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
