Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Part Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our paid media examination capability, surfacing data-driven opportunities for our Chief Initiative group, and driving the optimization of our paid media spend worldwide. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and insights will be instrumental in informing our paid media strategy and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities Deliver reporting and insights in the area of paid media, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders Design and build/lead the development of analytics, BI, and data science expectations focused on optimizing visible paid media and improving marketing efficiencies Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing groups on implementing media mix models Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by intelligent interpretation of results and the reporting and communication of recommendations that drive action Partner with marketing, finance, and data product teams to tackle business challenges, and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from blithequark, as well as external data from market research and advertising agencies) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our offerings Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field Advanced SQL skills Advanced experience with at least one industry analysis and metrics perception tools (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI) Proficiency in Excel with a proven track record A degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related fields Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualities will be highly valued: A passion for working in a team of highly engaged individuals A passion for numbers, data, and statistics, as well as for delivering high-quality analysis and insights A strong bias for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and technical teams effectively Experience with subscription, membership-based, or media content organizations Experience with and/or interest in learning more about state-of-the-art data science approaches Programming languages: knowledge of Python Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
