Job Overview Workwarp is on the lookout for a dedicated part-time bookkeeper or bookkeeping service to contribute 8-12 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our current part-time bookkeeper during their working hours (1 PM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Thursday). This role is not just about managing financial records; it's about being part of a significant transition from a legacy ERP system to a new one within the next two months. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success and readiness for the responsibilities that come with this position. Key Responsibilities Financial Management: Reconcile bank statements and execute monthly closings with precision and attention to detail. Administrative Support: Assist with insurance renewals, manage new employee documentation, and perform various administrative tasks as required. Invoicing and Record Keeping: Oversee invoicing for factory-direct shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial record-keeping. Essential Skills and Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need: Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, with the ability to leverage its features for efficient financial management. Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment while also being comfortable with independent work. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of bookkeeping responsibilities.
