**Job Summary**

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances.
* Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients to create affordable payment plans and take payments by phone.
* Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, utilizing your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail.
* Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
* Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training.

**What You'll Need**

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
* Proficiency in computer software systems, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
