**Job Summary**
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances
* Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients to create affordable payment plans and take payments by phone
* Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day
* Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus
* Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training
**What You'll Need**
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
* Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in computer software and systems, including CRM and billing systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
