Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our IT Services team, providing technical support, performing data entry tasks, and collaborating with various departments to drive success. Your duties will include resolving technical issues, answering customer care issues, contributing to desktop projects, and remotely diagnosing and resolving requests using remote tools. Key Responsibilities Resolving technical issues and closing tickets/work orders in a timely and efficient manner Answering customer care issues raised from the Helpdesk and providing excellent customer service Contributing to desktop projects (global installs/upgrades) as a project team member and collaborating with various departments Remotely diagnosing and resolving requests using remote tools and ensuring seamless operations Investigating and collaborating with different departments to assist with system-related issues and providing technical support Recording customer interactions in incident management system, including asset management and maintaining accurate records Recovering data from hard disk drives or performing data migration and ensuring data integrity Supporting remote access for virtual private network connectivity as well as remote/broadband connectivity for workstations Installing and configuring local and network-based printers and ensuring hardware functionality Performing preventive maintenance and ensuring the smooth functioning of our systems Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues. You should also have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Firsthand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment and knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10, are essential. You should be able to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, having a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, experience working in a remote environment and familiarity with remote tools and technologies are desirable.
