Manually enter and scan relevant data using applicable systems or programs, reviewing entered data for errors or discrepancies
Perform audits of submitted data entries, providing feedback to team members to ensure ongoing quality and accuracy
Facilitate corrections to incorrect data entry, review system-generated reports, and generate/run reports to verify, correct, and update information
Escalate challenging data entry problems to management, adhering to internal workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures
Demonstrate understanding of relevant computer systems, software applications, and platforms, staying abreast of changes to workflows, policies, and procedures
Utilize feedback from business partners to identify and implement process improvements, recognizing and reporting system and application problems to relevant partners
Essential Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
3+ years of data entry experience in a corporate, business, managed healthcare, hospital, or insurance environment
Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, entry, and reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
Solid data management experience, preferably within managed care, referral management, patient appointing, and/or patient administration functions
Excellent data mining, analytical, and reporting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
