We're proud to be an equal opportunity workplace, and we welcome applications from diverse candidates who share our values. **Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily * Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations * Performing other duties as assigned **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience * Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required * You must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented * You must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone * You must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet * You must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. * You demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness * You look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitor your own work to ensure quality is met * You demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed * You must be able to maintain confidentiality * You must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook * Experience with data entry software and systems * Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting your professional growth and development.
